Dumadami na ang cases ng Swine flu. As we see recent updates, meron na rin pala sa China (heard it - a 30 year old guy who came in china  from the US)  now.. I'm having second thoughts about traveling out of the country, even just to hongkong this coming July. Scary....e malapit din ang hongkong sa China dba?

Actually it is not that i am exagerating, nor concerned about getting the flu per se, but this is more of a hassle(s), because i heard you need to be quarantined for 5 days (at least) if I show the slightest symptoms or if someone on the hotel I am in or the flight I am in shows symptoms of the flu. Am i right?

Just seeking an advice here,  will you still push through going to HK this vacation leave on  july thinking about the current issues and health warnings about H1N1 virus? If not, what should I do with my ticket?

I hope someone would like to help. thanks a lot

yeah speaking of the swine flu... currently there's no vaccine yet available.

so you need to be extra careful if you are traveling.

According to some guidelines i've read. You can bring TumiFlu tablets with you, produce a mask to wear, and do what you can to keep your resistance up (the usuals: take vitamins especially lots of Vitamin C, get a lot of sleep, maintain a good diet) and stay safe (frequent hand-washing and whatnot).   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

We are also planning to go to Thailand this may so We'll be doing the same for our upcoming trip. I hope h1n1 virus doesn't reach Thailand yet .
