using condom is not really 100% safe- dahil minsan, hindi mo mapapansing natanggal na pala since you are in under your great lust feelings.

so if i'm going to rate it--- it's only 90% therefore it's better to control your selves than using condom.

Hmmm... not really 100%...

maraming factors kung bakit maaaring hindi ideal ang condom. Una sa lahat, pwedeng allergic sa latex ang man or yung woman. Aside from that, pwedeng dahil sa may punit ang condom.

So, it's like, nasa 90% ang reliability ng condom.

imo, condoms are close to 100% safe. it is how we use it that reduces this safety percentage. for example:

1. people not knowing how to properly put on condoms (dont forget to squeeze the tip! dapat walang hangin sa loob.)
2. people not knowing what lube to use (water or silicon based only! bawal ang oil based, e.g. baby oil, lotion, petroleum jelly, hair conditioner, etc.)
3. people not knowing their condom size (now this is tricky. wala gaanong magnums at Please read and comply to forum guidelines. Thank you.-small condoms in the local market)
4. people not knowing how to store condoms (huwag ilagay sa wallet. dapat cool dry place.)
5. people not knowing how to properly dispose used condoms (may condom nga. pag tinanggal naman, pati laman natatapon din sa genital/anal orifice.)
6. people na nagtitipid sa condoms (pag matagal na ang gamit, palitan na. worse, pag multiple partners in a single act, yung condom sa isa, yun din ang condom sa iba. hindi nagpapalit)

condoms, if used properly, will give close to 100% protection. that's what its created for. pero parang ibang bagay lang din iyan, nasa paggamit ang basehan kung mabuti o masama ang kakalabasan.

This is a good read. I agree.
There should be more info dissemination on how to use condoms.

The problem kasi with most HIV-AIDS campaign is that we are inclined to action pag infected na.
Which is mas importante to deal with prevention.

So important info like how to use condoms, where to get dental dams, which time to do sex, etc. are things that would empower people to fight off HIV.
