Has anyone here ever experienced jock itch or pangangati sa singit? Would you know any cure to this condition? I just experience this lately parang dumadalas na yung pangangati dati naman hindi...help naman .thanks.

@punkyjam..just for your info...Tinea cruris is a skin infection of the groin. In common terms this disorder is known as "jock itch". It can occur at any age, but it is more common in adults. Typically it appears as an itchy, red, scaly rash on the inner thighs and groin.

you can probably try the following:

1.Keep area dry.  You may want to blow dry 2-3 times a day.       

2. Use medicated powder or any cooling effect powder and apply it in the groin on a daily basis. This helps keep the area dry and cool.  I can recommended Zeasorb AF powder. This medicated powder contains antifungals which suppress fungus growth.

3. if Recurrences,you can try it with Lamisil cream.  This does not need a prescription and  is very effective for control

Yup, I agree with pinoynurse since that's what I did as well and the fungal infection stopped.
