Got this from the net. Smiley
Salicylic Peels One of the best treatments of choice for oily / acne skin. This highly active lipid soluble beta hydroxy acid peel has the ability to penetrate and cleanse the clogged pores form which acne and oil secretions arise. The salicylic peel also creates an even exfoliation revealing healthy new skin cells.

Treating Acne With Salicylic and Glycolic Acid

What is the advantage of using Alpha and Beta peels to treat acne? Salicylic acid:

An oil soluble beta hydroxy acid is able to dissolve oil and hardened sebum and deeply cleanses the pores Salicylic acid is remarkably effective in preventing acne, drying up excess oil and in clearing up pustules.

Glycolic Acid Have been shown to be quite successful in treating acne. Applying Salicylic acid peel prior to glycolic acid peels allows the glycolic acid to penetrate more deeply into the skin and thus work more effectively.

The unique combination of Salicylic and Glycolic Peels is one of the best ways to counter acne without the use of medication.

What is Salicylic Peels ?

A medium strength peel that helps to fade dark patches, reduce acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles.

as per my dermatologist, glycolic peeling is good if you can manage to hide from sunlight for a minimum of two weeks up to 1 month. Kasi magbabalat po talaga yung mukha pagkatapos ng treatment. pero after one month or if the face has healed completely, it really make the scars look less noticeable. Actually, it is recommended for any skin type kasi tatanggalin lang naman yung topmost layer ng skin para ma renew. Ok din po yung reply ni Bubbles kasi ganun din po yung naresearch ko sa net. Di ko pa nararanasan kasi kailangan kong magtrabaho at exposed talaga ako sa sunlight. pero may ginagamit ako to lessen my acne scars as well as to treat my pimples. it is a product that contains retinol and i am documenting its effect on my face. eto po yung link:
