well did you know that glutathione is a naturally occurring substance in the body particularly in the liver?it serves  as an antioxidant and is actively involve body's metabolic functions . the one widely used in the market are supplemental glutathione. because of free radicals generated by our bodies, glutathione is reduced and thus can cause a lot of cellular damages. the supplemental glutathione are basically safe. even taken orally or by injection. just be cautious about  for fake brands kasi marami sa market ang nanloloko

hi @skyangel,

commonly known injectible glutathione brand which  i know are

Tationil Roche
Saluta Glutathione
Tad

sabi nila mas ok daw yung Saluta Reduced Glutathione ksi reduced na daw sya.. di na kelangan bumili ng Vit C. ksi reduced na yung saluta which helps speed up glutathione absorption into blood cells.

mas ok daw yung injectible kesa oral

I do not know if there are studies concerning long term use of high dose glutathione. But a doctor who is a friend of mine told me that indeed, whitening is just a side effect. If there long term effects of glutathione, please post them here for the benefit of the members.  thanks.

Be careful with those sold in the internet. Be very very careful. The best source if from the company itself, from med reps or from a hospital. Allegedly, the Tationil of Roche is the BEST brand.

A friend of mine inquired in Belo's clinic and one set costs 40K. LOL...

Here's one site/article which states the usage of IV Gluta... and why oral preparations are useless

http://www.peterbennett.com/therapies/iv_glutathione_therapy.html

Yup, i agree...or get them direct from reputable importers who import Tationil direct from Italy.

From what i read lately, Saluta brand is better than Tationil.

if there is ANY direct scientific EVIDENCE (not theories) that glutathione makes the skin lighter, please let me know.

glutathione is just one of the many "food supplements" that has no approved therapeutic claims.

to the poster..  to answer your question...Glutathione is indeed safe; user din po kasi ako  e...sabi nila the higher its level, the greater the liver’s capacity to detoxify waste. There is no danger of overdose since it is a natural compound found in the body...yung mga binebenta sa labas yung iba don fake...kaya don ka mag-ingat...alam mo naman sa atin...basta kumita lang ng pera kahit ano papasukin...
