Treatment Options for Recurrent Laryngeal Cancer
« on: November 12, 2008, 01:43:54 AM »

Treatment of recurrent laryngeal cancer may include the following:

    * Surgery with or without radiation therapy.
    * Radiation therapy.
    * Chemotherapy.
    * A clinical trial of chemotherapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms caused by the cancer and improve quality of life.

Check for U.S. clinical trials from NCI's PDQ Cancer Clinical Trials Registry that are now accepting patients with recurrent laryngeal cancer.
