cancerous ba ang mga moles?

I was wondering whether moles can become cancerous kasi I have this mole since childhood and am a little concerned...when i got the chance to see it in the mirror I've noticed that it's not symmetrical (I never took notice of it before that), but it's never gotten bigger, nor has the asymmetrical shape changed.

can somebody shed light to this? Are these cancerous?

As far as Moles are concerned, they can be found in sun-exposed or clothing-covered areas.  Cancerous moles as what i have researched on arent noticeable all the time so you can probably ask your dermatologist and have them inspected. They have to be verified. doctors would normally take a sample and see it in the microsoft for some evidence..

yup, some doctors check it under the microscope; you should be more concern if it is getting bigger
